In some aipplications, which require speed control, most people would select induction motor, DC brush motor or inverter motor. Generally, these motors are large size, unstable speed torque, high temperature, slow speed response, low efficiency, hard maintenance...etc. With development of material science and electric technology, it comes to achievement of new motor for speed control - Brushless DC motor (BLDC Motor).
Because there is no brush in BLDC motor, it is maintenance free, flat torque performance no matter in high or low speed rotating, swift CW/CCW direction change. For the same power output, BLDC motor is only half volume compared with general motors. After long time operation, motor still keep low temperature for high efficiency.
